Verifying your identity
The ATO requires identity verification for every taxpayer lodging a tax return. When you start a tax return at GGA, you will be asked to provide acceptable IDs to verify your identity.
If you are not able or not willing to provide enough details for GGA to positively verify your identity, GGA will not be able to provide tax agent services to you and will not lodge your tax return. If you have a complaint about identity verification you may lodge a complaint by the methods outlined on our Terms and Conditions.
How we handle email
We will preserve the content of any email that you send us, if we believe that we have a legal requirement to do so. Your email message content may be monitored by our GGA Group employees for security issues including where email abuse is suspected; our response to you may be monitored for quality assurance issues.
If you’d like to unsubscribe from promotional emails, please click the unsubscribe link in the footer of an email or if you prefer simply contact us at [email protected]. Please note, if you keep us appointed as your tax agent, then we have an obligation to send important tax related correspondence to you. Unsubscribing from our promotional emails will not affect obligatory tax related messages or notifications.
